Deep Magic Song & Drawing Co. is a partnership between Brad Colerick, singer-songwriter, and me. He's the music. I'm the graphics. We both make the magic. (What else would you expect from the merger of his company Deep Mix, and Magic Pencil, mine?) My experience over the past three decades has been as a Disney artist, co-founder of Magic Pencil Studios, with accounts big and small, and most recently, as a Chamber of Commerce President & CEO for South Pasadena, California.
As a creative guy I've designed logos for Michael Jackson's Captain Eo, Epcot Center's Institute of Entertainment Arts, the City of South Pasadena, Laugh More Entertainment, and others. At the helm of the South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce for eleven years, I helped to reposition the famously indie city as an arts-haven by founding and co-producing the Eclectic Music Festival, Arts Crawls, the gallery scene and targeted "Shop Local" promotions. My tenure there was celebrated by businesses and residents alike, (thank you!) when I was honored as "Citizen of the Year," in a Fourth of July Parade. The common thread over three decades has been to work directly with hundreds of clients, execs, elected folks and business owners on launching, defining or finessing their communications –– to get noticed and grow.
